Dedicated to empowering special needs families through comprehensive support, education, and advocacy.
NeuroConnect is dedicated to enhancing the lives of neurodivergent individuals and their families across East Africa. We provide comprehensive support, advocacy, and resources to empower our community.
Our mission is to bridge the gap in special needs support services through innovative training programs, community building, and accessible resources that foster understanding, acceptance, and inclusion.
We envision a world where neurodivergent individuals are fully included, supported, and empowered to achieve their full potential in all aspects of life.
Through our work, we aim to create a society that celebrates neurodiversity as a valuable form of human variation and ensures that support systems are accessible to all who need them.
We provide families and individuals with knowledge, tools, and resources to advocate for themselves and make informed decisions.
We promote environments where all individuals are valued, respected, and given equal opportunities to participate and thrive.
We work together with families, professionals, and communities to create comprehensive support networks.
We continuously seek new and effective approaches to address the diverse needs of our community.
NeuroConnect was founded in 2021 by a group of parents, educators, and healthcare professionals who recognized the significant gaps in support for neurodivergent individuals and their families in East Africa.
What began as a small support group has grown into a comprehensive organization serving families across Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Sudan, and Rwanda. Through determination and collaborative effort, we've developed programs that address the unique needs of our community.
Today, we continue to expand our reach and impact, guided by the experiences and feedback of the families we serve.
